Our founders, Duane, Jenny and Joseph Newport, are very specific about there vision for the school: to engage students in a quality Christ-centred education that equips and challenges them to reach their unique potential spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally and physically following Christ’s call to excellence.

Hands of Hope Faith Academy is a Christian School and while families of other religions (or of no religion) may apply, they need to be aware and  accept that their child will be educated and will participate in the traditions of the Christian faith whilst at the School.

A place at Hands of Hope Faith Academy is not dependent on high academic, sporting, musical and cultural achievement. The candidate is however expected to demonstrate the commitment to achieve to their full potential – whatever level that might be.

Hands of Hope Faith Academy is a private school. School fees are heavily subsidised, 100 peso per month for Nursery and Kindergarten and 220 peso per month for Grades 1-6. This covers tuition, stationary and miscellaneous costs. There are uniform costs. Please contact the the office for more informtion.

Applications and Registrations for Nursery,  Kindergarten, and Grades 1- 6 are welcomed for SY2022-23.

All parents/guardians are expected to participate actively in a partnership with the school to empower their child to become the “good and useful” citizen. There is also an expectation that parents/guardians provide a home environment that is aligned to the values upheld by the School.

Which type of meals provided by the school?

Students are able to buy healthy snacks from Hands of Hope Faith Academy’s canteen. The canteen fulfils the criteria set by the Philippines Department of Education. Lunch is also available for students to purchase and is subsidised by the school.

What type of curriculum is followed?

All school curriculum meets the Philippines Department of Education requirements.

How safe is the school?

Safety and protection is important to Hands of Hope Faith Academy. The school is fully fenced, students are generally dropped off and picked up by a parent or parents and/or a caregiver. All visitors need to sign into the office.

What time do classes start?

Kindergarten classes per day – one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Sizes are limited to a 20 students per class.

Does learning happen outside the classroom?

Absolutely. Field trips and other activities are an important part of Hands of Hope Faith Academy.

How skilled are the teachers of the school?

All teachers are graduates of a local University. Most are LET passers. Those who are yet to sit or pass are encouraged to are encouraged to do so as soon as possible. The Principal and Head Teacher are sponsored to do their Masters in Education by the school.

How much does it cost?

The school subsidises the fees as Hands of Hope is non-profit non-stock organisation. For a full year the cost per Kindergarten student is P1500. This can be paid in monthly instalments of P150

How much experience do your teachers have?

All teachers are graduates of a local University. Most are LET passers and those who are yet to pass, are encouraged to sit the Board exam as soon as possible. The Principal and Head Teacher are sponsored to do their Masters in Education by the school.

What type of curriculum is followed?

What technology used in the school?

We have a modern and up-to-date computer lab, cameras and circuits and robotics classes. We embrace technology and think it is important for students to learn how works and how they can use it.

What grades do we offer?

Hands of Hope Faith Academy provides a compelling continuum of education for Grades 1-6.

Hands of Hope Faith Academy uses both summative and formative assessments. Summative assessments are intended to summarise student achievement at a particular time, whereas formative assessments are intended to promote further improvement of student attainment.

What is the student to teacher ratio?

Hands of Hope Faith Academy offers a low student-teacher ratio. This means class sizes are limited to ensure students receive individual attention.
